What Is Chaitra Navratri? How It Is Celebrated in India?

The term ‘Navratri’ is derived from the two separate words ‘Nav’ meaning nine and ‘ratri’ meaning night. The Nine Forms of the Goddess are Named as:-

  9. Siddhidayini.
Chaitra Navratri is celebrated on the Chaitra month, which gave it the name ‘Chaitra Navratri’. This year, the celebration will begin on 6th of April and will continue till nine days from the date. People will be found in new clothes enjoying and rejoicing these nine days with lots of cheerfulness, happiness, enthusiasm, and faith in their hearts.
